General Information
The Anantara Resort Golden Triangle belongs to the "Small Leading Hotels of the World" and was completely renovated in 2003. The hotel offers modern comfort, high-quality ambience and unique architecture. It is located in the heart of the Golden Triangle, the mountainous region of the Mekong, where Thailand, Laos and Myanmar are bordering. The location is perfect for sightseeing tours due to the many attractions of this beautiful area. The airport is located in Chiang Rai, about 60 kilometers away from the hotel.

A total of 77 rooms and suites are offered in the "Golden Triangle Anantara Resort". All rooms have a balcony overlooking the pool or the gardens. The interior design combines Thai style with elements of silk, teak wood carvings with a homely atmosphere. A lavish breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner with live music: in the "Sala Mae Nam" you can enjoy traditional and Northern Thai dishes. The "Baan Dahlia" serves authentic Italian dishes. The highlight of the resort is an elephant camp, which was faithfully reconstructed according to the traditional mahout villages. It is designed to preserve the elephants (domesticated and wild). Guests have the unique opportunity to take part in various activities with the "gentle giant" experience. These range from elephant trekking to swim and launch command. Yoga, sauna, tennis, squash, swimming pool, table tennis, jacuzzi, gym and mountain bikes are available too.
